The Town of New Shoreham licenses all taxis, taxi drivers, charter buses and limousines operating on Block Island. Taxi rules and rates are set locally.
Transportation Network Services
Uber, Lyft and other transportation network services are not licensed by the Town.

Complaints
Complaints about service or rates are handled through the Commission on Motor Vehicles for Hire. If you have a criminal complaint, contact the New Shoreham Police Department on Beach Avenue or at 401-466-3200.
